Because of that I made this small audiovisual piece that fully embraces the art of sampling. The audio is produced in Koala Sampler using a reworked melody from “Canção de Embalar”, a song from Portuguese songwriter Zeca Afonso, the drums are from “Casa” a song from Da Weasel and the voice is from a found interview with Portuguese writer José Saramago. The visuals were made in Touchdesigner using a 3D scan found in Polycam and made by @luis_f_zuniga . Sometimes the words of Saramago are difficult to translate but they speak for themselves.
