Saturday while I was at work in Rocky Mountain House, it got dark in the late afternoon, then in the evening it started to rain, to pour, some small hail, thunder and lightning! On the drive home there was the most lightning I've seen in years and a few minutes of scary hail (think we actually got some dents on the vehicle!) before we drove out of it nearer home. Only to get close and see-- the ground was white! A thick coating of hail covered the ground, the most and biggest (though not that big as hail goes) we've seen at home in many years. Next video (soon!) will show the damage to plants- extensive but not total.
