I'm using the Lake People F833 and F844 analog tools and API 535 line driver to create a feedback loop. I first mix DAC signal with feedback return signal, then go through processing (reverb, EQ, and compression), then distribute the result back to the ADC and to the feedback loop, which inserts the 535 for gain adjustment and transformer decoupling (not sure the transformer is relevant here).
